This chest-mounted ascender is popular with rope access workers, cavers, and others needing an efficient method of ascending fixed lines. The Croll's design mounts flat against the chest. The cam can be locked out of the way for ease of inserting the rope. Fits rope sizes 5/16 to 1/2 inch (8 to 13mm).
